Browsers
heylogin is currently designed specifically for browsers, here you can log in to any website with one click after installing the heylogin browser plugin. We support the browsers Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari and also Safari for iOS. Otherwise, we are largely device-independent. heylogin must be connected to a device's browser and the extension must be installed. This can be done on as many browsers as desired.
Supported browsersAutofill on iPhone/iPad and Android
heylogin also supports the Autofill functionality on iPhone/iPad and Android itself and integrates with the operating system.

heylogin supports a quick access functionality, which allows you to copy & paste logins into native applications.

Login devices
For confirming the login, heylogin supports several different login devices, such as smartphones, watches, tablets, security keys or security functionality inside the laptop itself.
Smartphone
For heylogin, a smartphone is the default login device, as we use the built-in security chip for encryption instead of a master password. Currently, heylogin works with Android and iOS and is limited to one device per user.
Smartwatch
If you have a smartwatch, we also support Apple Watch and Wear OS Watches.
Apple WatchWear OS WatchTablet
We also have an iPad app. The app, like the mobile app, offers swipe to login to unlock the browsers of your desktop/laptop devices. Other tablets are not supported yet, this is planned for the future. So if you use a tablet other than an iPad, you may encounter unexpected problems.
Security Key
As an alternative to smartphones, heylogin supports FIDO2 Security Keys. These small devices have an integrated security chip and look like USB sticks.
Security KeysWindows Hello / Touch ID
As another alternative login device, Windows Hello and Touch ID on Mac is supported. These mechanisms use the security chip (TPM) inside the Laptop.

Initial Login Device
The initial login device is the first device you set up with heylogin—typically your phone. It is used to confirm logins.
Additional Login Devices
Additional login devices are other ways to sign in to heylogin—such as a security key or Windows Hello. They serve as alternatives in case the initial device is unavailable.
