Sometimes, there are additional fields you have to fill out on some websites before you can log in. For this matter you can create custom fields for your login at heylogin.app.
Add custom fields
- Open heylogin.app and navigate to the desired login.
- In the top row, click this icon ‣. This will add a new field.
- Give that field a name and click Add. You can also decide whether the content of this custom field should be hidden by enabling Hide content.
If you share logins with others and have enabled hide passwords, custom fields with hidden content will also be hidden.
- Enter the desired information into your newly created field and click Save 1 change. If the content should span multiple lines, click the following icon ‣ next to the text field.
- To edit the name of a custom field or change the hide content setting, click the gear icon.
There you can also adjust the order of custom fields using the arrow buttons.
Access custom fields
Every custom field will be displayed in your browser extension, quick access, context menu and in autotype and can be inserted directly into website forms.
